Key Changes in Admission System
KUET has decided to conduct a separate admission test, departing from the previous cluster admission system. The test will be held on 11 January 2025 and will include candidates from 16 departments under three main faculties:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- HSC/Equivalent: Minimum GPA of 4.00 in Science.
- Combined GPA (Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English): 18.00 points minimum.
- SSC/Equivalent: Candidates must have passed in 2021 or 2022 with a minimum GPA of 4.00.
- Additional Requirements for Biomedical Engineering:
- GPA of 4.00 in Biology in both SSC and HSC exams.
- GCE ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level Students:
- O-Level: Minimum grade of ‘B’ in five subjects.
- A-Level: Grade ‘B’ in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Application Process

- Fill in all required details accurately.
- Submit the application form and pay the fee as per your group.

KUET Admission Notice 2025

Exam System and Mark Distribution
The KUET admission test will be a 3-hour written exam with a total of 500 marks. The distribution is as follows:

Selection of Eligible Candidates
KUET will shortlist up to 20,000 candidates based on the GPA in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Priority will be given to those with higher individual subject grades if the number of applicants exceeds the quota.
KUET Admit Card
Candidates must download their admit cards from the official website after the eligible list is published on 30 December 2024. Log in using your user ID and password to access the admit card.
KUET Admission Result
